Hot Temp Jobs (tm) temp agencies New York City NYC temporary employment agency > Hot Temp Jobs (tm) Webmaster >
This site is primarily for temp agencies to post press releases and job vacancies.

The nature of the staffing business requires immediate fulfillment of a Client's request for a temp worker. From our personal experience, very few temp positions are OPEN long enough to allow a staffing firm enough time to post a job vacancy on a job board, interview applicants and then select a final candidate. If one staffing firm does not have a person readily available to satisfy a client's request, that client will most likely call other temp agencies.

Given the above, we believe that a "job board" specific to the staffing industry should function more as a directory of temp agencies and placement firms rather than as a job posting site.

The interactive nature of our Boards do, however, allow agencies to post job vacancies and to interact with temp job seekers.

From our directories of temp agencies and placement firms and our Desperately Seeking Temps Report , you, as a person looking for temp work, should be able to find temp agencies that are looking for people with your skills.

This site is designed to help you find temp agencies in New York City so that you can get temp work.

There are a number of ways to use the information here to find temp agencies:

(1) You can use the Desperately Seeking Temps Report ( tm ) to see what temp agencies are currently advertising for temps.

(2) You can use the "keyword search" feature on the boards on this site to search for temp agencies by industry, profession or any other key word(s) of interest.

(3) You can find temp agencies by browsing the listing to temp agencies on this board and on the Temping 247 (tm) board.

Finally,

(4) You can use our listings of Permanent Employers by Industry and Profitability to find contact info for Perm Employers (of interest) and then call those companies and ask them what temp agencies they are using; we refer to this as TARGETING. Temping is the easiest way into a company, once you are in a company you can market yourself for PERM work.

Once you find temp agencies that interest you, you need to contact those temp agencies directly by faxing your resume to them or by telephoning them and asking them for their registration procedures.
